The playbook

How a faceless channel gets to your number

No growth hacks. A niche with advertiser demand, a repeatable production line, enough volume to learn from, and four income lines instead of one. You set the target — this is the machine that chases it.

01
Week 1–2

Pick a niche that pays

RPM decides everything. A finance or software channel earns 6–10x what a gaming compilation channel earns for the same view count.

  • Shortlist three niches with advertiser demand: personal finance, B2B software, real estate, health tech, AI tools.
  • Check the top 10 channels in each — if none are faceless, the format is fighting you.
  • Commit to one niche for 90 days. Switching resets the algorithm's understanding of your channel.

Target RPM of $8+ instead of the $2 platform average.

02
Week 2–3

Build the production line

Faceless only scales if one video takes hours, not days. Every step gets a fixed tool and a fixed template.

  • Script from an outline, never a blank page — hook, promise, 5 beats, payoff.
  • One voice, one music bed, one caption style. Consistency reads as a brand.
  • Batch: script five, record five, edit five. Context switching is the hidden cost.

Under 4 hours from idea to uploaded video.

03
Week 3–12

Publish on a rhythm

Three uploads a week for twelve weeks is the minimum sample size before you can judge whether the niche works.

  • Ship 36 videos before you redesign anything.
  • Rewrite the title and thumbnail of any video below a 4% click-through rate.
  • Keep a swipe file of the packaging that outperforms — repeat the pattern, not the topic.

6% click-through rate, 45% average view duration.

04
Month 4–8

Stack four income lines

Ad revenue alone needs well over a million monthly views to clear a five-figure month. Four stacked lines get there on a fifth of the traffic.

  • AdSense: the floor, not the plan.
  • Sponsors: pitch once you pass 20k monthly views — $20–$40 CPM beats ad revenue outright.
  • Affiliates: link the exact tools each video discusses.
  • Your own product: a template pack or course converts your best 1% of viewers.

No single line above 50% of total income.

05
Month 8+

Buy back your time

The channel becomes an asset when it runs without you. Hire against your worst-performing hour.

  • Hire an editor first — it is the largest block of hours and the easiest to brief.
  • Keep scripting and packaging in-house. That is the part that actually earns.
  • Reinvest 20% of revenue into a second channel in an adjacent niche.

Under 8 owner-hours a week at full output.

Faceless is not effortless

You trade being on camera for being relentless about packaging. The work moves, it does not disappear.

Volume beats perfection early

Your 30th video teaches you more than 30 hours of studying other channels. Publish to learn.

The niche is the business decision

Everything downstream — RPM, sponsor rates, product pricing — is set the day you choose the topic.
